The 1st HIVInfectious Diseases, and Global Health Science of ImplemenTAtion Conference (VISTA) will bring together clinicians, community leaders, policymakers, and researchers in Cape Town, South Africa, from 1–3 June 2026 (dates subject to confirmation).

This new meeting will focus on how the science of implementation can help close persistent gaps between proven interventions and their effective delivery in real-world settings, particularly for communities that remain underserved.

Through plenary and breakout sessionsearly career investigator capacity-building activitiesmasterclassesnetworking opportunities, and abstract-driven presentations, VISTA 2026 offers a practical space to exchange ideas, build collaborations, and explore methods that bring science closer to the people it aims to serve.

The program will also include pitch opportunities for emerging projects and collaborations that seek to strengthen implementation research across HIV, infectious diseases, and global health.
