Clinical Bioinformatics Day
Date: 5th of June 2026

The meeting is organised by Hanneke van Deutekom (UMCU), Bart de Koning (MUMC) and Tobias Beers (NKI), and of course as SIG we are assisting them. There will be interesting talks from the field of microbiology, genetics and pathology. Some talks will be focusing on implementing long reads in a clinical setting, others will be about the necessary infrastructure, and of course we will explain some things about microbiology to the non-microbiology bioinformaticians.
It is mainly aimed at clinical bioinformaticians, but medical (molecular) microbiologists are welcome too.
