Are you passionate about microbiology and eager to connect with fellow PhD students and postdocs? I am looking to build a motivated team to organize a Microbiology Day tailored for young researchers like us. The aim is to create a dynamic event featuring inspiring talks, workshops, and networking opportunities, with a special focus on addressing the underrepresented yet vital topics that truly matter in the daily lives of PhD students and early-career researchers. This initiative is organized by the KNVM (Royal Dutch Society for Microbiology), which provides both guidance and budgetary support. This gives us the freedom to shape this first edition into an engaging and impactful event for young researchers.

Please reach out to me at marlon.van.es@rug.nl to join the team or simply to share your thoughts, ideas, and suggestions for workshops or talks you would like to see during the event.
