EUCAST-webinar

30-11-2020
van 08:00 tot 17:00

For some time, the meaning and use of the "intermediate" clinical category in the interpretation of antimicrobial susceptibility testing results was unclear to both clinical laboratories and clinicians. EUCAST has now changed the definition of "I" to better represent the usefulness of the antimicrobial agent in question.

They will hold a third web seminar as well on November 30th in the same 3 time slots at 8.00, 13.00 and 16.00 (CET). This one will focus on the Area of Technical Uncertainty (ATU) in antimicrobial susceptibility testing.

You can find the links to join that here:

You can find further information on this webinar series and the recordings of previous seminars on the EUCAST website: www.eucast.org

Please help us distribute this information, as these web seminars will cover important topics, especially now during World Antimicrobial Awareness Week.
